Douglas Werling joined Bower Trading in 2002 as a senior account executive, rising to his current position of vice president of Trading. Douglas has dedicated his career to the commodities market, training under the direction and guidance of veteran traders with Bower Trading. He is intensely focused on the intricacies of global market dynamics, which translates into superior knowledge and service for Bower Trading clients.
Douglas earned a BS in Agriculture with a minor in Agriculture Business from Purdue University, specializing in the commodity markets. Douglas holds a FINRA Series 3 Commodities License and is certified in anti-money laundering and cyber security programs. He grew up on a farrow-to-finish hog and grain farm in New Haven, Indiana. His work ethic and dedication in both his personal and educational backgrounds in agriculture easily translates to a fundamental understanding of the commodity futures markets. Douglas enjoys baseball, water sports and woodworking. He and his wife have three children and reside in Swayzee, Indiana.
